This was our first time to Topsail. It was a beautiful family, friendly beach. The beach is relatively narrow, which was great. It made getting from the house out to the beach, easy. There were no significant crowds either.

Five Star property and Five Star host in every possible way. We walked up the stairs and saw the expansive deck area, then walked in the entrance and saw the SubZero fridge and knew instantly that we chose the best place to stay in all of Topsail Island. The property was well appointed and John and his property manager, Christine, were helpful, responsive, and amazing. When we return, we will look to reserve any property owned by John, the best host on the island.

The Purple Haze was within walking distance to lots of restaurants and things to do, and beach access right across the street, which was nice. I loved the top deck, which has a beach view, and the lower deck has a swing and relief from the sun when it gets hot. The gates on the deck are awesome to help keep the kiddos or pets from wandering off. I also loved that this is a single house not a duplex so we had the whole house to ourselves. I would stay here again and would recommend this to others.

We love this location. The ocean view deck is oversized and great for kids. The hot tub was an awesome touch. I love that they are not in the "covid" era anymore. They had a closet full of bath towels and beach towels. I loved how the washer and dryer is centrally located. The king bed was comfortable. The soccer game downstairs was a lot of fun! Very nice house with a lot of character. Paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, soap, dish detergent, trash bags were all provided and that was a huge plus as this time we only stayed 2 nights. There is enough parking that we took our golf cart and besides the one time going over the bridge we drove the golf cart everywhere!

This was a wonderful stay for us. The home is on the water and as you walk up the stairs into the kitchen and living room area the views are breathtaking! The rooms are all very spacious and each has its own bathroom. The house is very nicely decorated and you have every single thing you can need to feel right at home. John is very friendly, responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect. We love waking up to see the ocean view. The house was nearby grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops. Many things to do nearby! We would definitely come back next time! Highly recommended! Thank you!

We had an incredible stay at John’s place!The location was perfect - so close to the beach with amazing balconies to sit and overlook the ocean. The house was clean, had lots of amenities and plenty of space. John was super responsive and gave us some great recommendations for local spots that we took advantage of during our vacation. We will absolutely try to stay here again during our next trip to Topsail beach!!

We loved our stay at John's place. John was very responsive ..no, amazingly responsive. The kitchen is very organized and labeled. No mysteries about the cooling and thermostat. Everything worked as advertised. Simple and clear departure instructions. the ample bedrooms and bathrooms makes is great for a lathe group. The hot tub is the icing.

We had a perfect week at the beach and appreciate the hospitality. Located right on the beach this house offers the convenience and accessibility we needed. The elevator was very helpful. John was very responsive and willing to address any questions we had. We’d love to stay another week!

We had an amazing stay! John was a fantastic host and the house amenities are exactly as described. Quiet and less crowded area of the beach, lots of parking, bathroom for every bedroom, LOTS of towels, linens, kitchen had EVERYTHING and anything you would possibly need. Literally steps to the beach. The 2 large outdoor gated decks with beachfront hot tub were added bonuses. It was nice to have both sun and shade areas and still feel like you were on the beach! Decks were perfect for our small pups 1st trip to the beach, with the gates we never had to worry about him. We had zero issues and a fantastic stay.
